Zach Harmon: Bio
At age 14, Zach Harmon made his first appearance on the Big Country music scene. His eclectic county-rock sound has attracted a strong fan base in Abilene and the surrounding areas. He has played with big name country acts, including Randy Rogers, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Reckless Kelly, Eli Young Band and several more.
Fresh off recording his first studio album, "Road to Nowhere," Zach plans on spending 2010 playing shows throughout Texas and continuing to write and record new music, which he states is his true passion. "Being live on stage is amazing... the crowd, the intensity* cant beat it, but being in the studio, that's where I can get away. It's my way of surviving the day* Some people run it out, some people cry* I put my emotions on paper."
Terry Mashburn, of Big Note Studio, thinks "Road To Nowhere" is "Probably the best album to ever come out of Abilene." The record arrived Dec 17th of 2009, and has been in demand around the area. "Album sales have been great. I couldn't be more appreciative of the fans and their unbelievable support in this town. You guys make the hours, sweat, and soul I put into this record seem miniscule. Hats off to West Texas."
Zach will be celebrating the new album with an official release concert on February 25th, at the Lucky Mule Saloon with Johnny Cooper. The future looks bright for this up and coming artist as he looks to hit the road in 2010. "Music is my life, my passion, my soul* but at the end of the day, its the fans that make me who I am. Like I always say, 'Musicians don't make fans* fans make musicians'."
